When I started with one of my first picture books, my parents would often ask me questions about it. The one that I remember best is the one with the policeman: What does the policeman do? And I am supposed to raise my hand like the officer in the picture signaling traffic.
Although I am still far from the reading stage, I really enjoy books. I love turning pages and looking at pictures, especially if there are any cats or doggies involved. My parents sometimes make up stories about them which actually amuse me. However, I wish they would stick to the stories and not constantly change them with each telling!
Whenever kids come over to our place I have no problems with sharing my toys with them. But when it comes to books, I am afraid I have to say no. Books are sacred and they are really mine and nobody can touch them. Sorry, but that’s the way it is!
